Privacy Policy

ForjGather lets you create animated invitations and send them to guests. This page explains what information we handle and why. We keep it short because we collect as little as we can.
What we collect
- Account details. If you sign in, your email address (from your email, Apple, or Google sign-in) and a sign-in identifier from Apple if you use that option. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only see the private relay address Apple gives us.
- Invitation details. The event title, date, time, place, message, host name, and, for each guest, the name and any personal note you write.
- Guest lists. Names, phone numbers, and email addresses you enter for guests stay on your own device. If you sign in, saved lists sync between your devices with guests' names and notes only. Guests' phone numbers and emails sync to our servers only if you turn that on in your account settings, and you can turn it off at any time, which removes them from our servers.
- RSVPs. When a guest answers an invitation, we store their answer, the number attending, and the names they enter, so the host can see them.
- Whether an invitation was opened. When a guest opens their invitation we record the first and most recent time and how many times, so the host can see that it was opened. We do not record the guest's IP address, location, or device.
- Sign-in cookie. A single cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to run ForjGather: showing an invitation to the guest it was made for, collecting RSVPs for the host, syncing your lists, and emailing sign-in links. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Text messages and email
When you tap Text on an invitation, the message is sent from your own phone through your own Messages app. ForjGather does not send text messages for you and does not store texts. The only emails we send ourselves are sign-in links to the address you give us. We do not email your guests unless you choose to send an invitation by email from your own mail app.
Guests
If you received an invitation, the host entered your name. Opening the link shows the invitation. If you RSVP, your answer and the names you type are shared with the host. The host can see whether you opened it. If the host turns on "who's coming," other guests of the same event can see the names and headcounts of people who said yes, never phone numbers or emails. If the host uses a shared link, you pick or type your name to open your invitation. Guests do not need an account. To have your RSVP removed, ask the host or contact us.
Who we share it with
We use Cloudflare to host the service, store data, and send sign-in emails. If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, those companies handle your sign-in under their own policies. We do not share your information with anyone else, except if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Invitations are kept for about 400 days. Events, RSVPs, and account data are kept until you ask us to delete them. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and sessions after 30 days.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your data, including your account, lists, events, and RSVPs, by emailing Support@ForjFlow.com. We will act on requests promptly. Signing out removes the sign-in cookie from your device.
Children
ForjGather is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS. Sign-in links are single use and sessions are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect what we hold.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If a change affects how we use your information in a meaningful way, we will say so in the app.
